From 2 to 5 June 2025, Kortrijk was once again dedicated to innovation, sustainability and cooperation within the flooring sector at the Flanders Flooring Days. Living Lab Carpet was present with a shared stand together with CISUFLO and POM West-Vlaanderen. The event provided us with an excellent opportunity to enter into dialogue with other players in the sector and to highlight our circular ambitions.

This year, the Flanders Flooring Days continued to become a leading moment for the European flooring industry, with a record number of visitors and a strong international presence. Visitors could count on an inspiring program with company visits, product demonstrations and a substantive seminar section that focused on sustainability, innovation and collaboration.
We are extremely proud to have welcomed so many professionals from the sector to our stand. We presented our circular initiatives, including experiments on carpet reuse, innovative Eol strategies and stimulating circular business models within the textile and carpet industry. These projects show that sustainable transition is possible, provided that knowledge institutions, companies and policy makers share their efforts.
A highlight of the seminar program was the keynote by colleague Adriaan De Bruyne, who took the attendees into the concrete results and insights from our living labs. Among other things, he shared how Living Lab Carpet tests circular innovations in a realistic production context, and how these experiments contribute to a forward-looking vision for the sector.
We look back on this edition with gratitude and hope that our presence has contributed to further fueling the circular dynamic within the flooring sector. Together, we are building a more sustainable and resilient ecosystem.
